Our beautiful town of Rüdesheim am Rhein is a state-recognized tourist destination and, in accordance with § 13 of the Local Tax Act in Hesse, a tourism tax of €2.50 per person per night is levied. Young people up to the age of 17 and travelers with severe disabilities are exempt.
The income from this contribution goes exclusively to tourism projects so that we can make your stay in the region even more attractive.
The survey area is the area of the municipality/city of Rüdesheim & Assmannshausen.
For the use of facilities and for participation in events that require special additional expenses, a special entrance fee may be charged in addition to the tourism fee.

Culinary Journey Around Game / October 10, 2026, from 6:00 PM
This experience is prepared by two professional chefs together with the hunter who harvested the game himself. Enjoyment can hardly get more authentic, fresh, or personal. Yet this evening offers far more than excellent cuisine: Between courses, chefs Oliver and Mo (from Taverne Zwockel and Wald-Boys BBQ, respectively) and hunter Tobi (Wildhunter-Pfalz) will give you exciting insights into their world and share personal stories and anecdotes—a lively exchange that turns the evening into a true experience.
Creativity, passion, and craftsmanship take center stage. Look forward to new flavor experiences, surprising combinations, and an inviting atmosphere that encourages you to savor and linger. The evening will be accompanied by the Stephan Oehlke Winery and the entire team of Hotel Rüdesheimer Hof, who will ensure the perfect setting with plenty of heart and passion.

Traditional Goose Dinner / November 11, 2026, from 6:00 PM
Look forward to a crispy roasted, regional goose, classically stuffed with chestnuts, fine herbs, aromatic mugwort, apples, and oranges. We serve this alongside a rich goose and red wine sauce, homemade red cabbage, and traditional dumplings—freshly prepared by Master Chef Oliver Kall from Taverne Zwockel. The experience is rounded off with a bottle of selected red wine from the Stephan Oehlke Winery.
The goose is intended for four people—perfect for enjoying together and sharing special moments.
We offer this complete package for €159, including the goose, side dishes, sauce, and wine.
